# Repurpose Studio

> A local-first desktop web app that turns one Substack essay into a full slate of social posts (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, a carousel, quote cards, a narrated vertical video, and an audio essay), then schedules and publishes all of it, without the essay ever leaving the writer's own machine.

Repurpose Studio is built for writers and creators who already publish long-form essays (on Substack or elsewhere) and want to stop manually rewriting the same idea eight different ways for eight different platforms. You paste in or connect an essay, and the studio produces platform-native output: a LinkedIn post with a separate first comment, an X/Twitter thread, a standalone tweet, an Instagram caption, a Threads post, a Bluesky post, a rendered image carousel, pull-quote cards, a faceless vertical video with burned-in captions, and a narrated audio version of the essay. From there it can schedule and publish directly to Bluesky, X, Threads, and LinkedIn.

What makes it different from a typical AI repurposing tool is that it runs entirely on the user's own computer. Essays, drafts, and publishing credentials never leave that machine. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and there is no cloud backend holding the user's writing. The AI layer runs through the local `claude` CLI rather than a metered API, so there is no per-word or per-generation billing. The app also learns the user's own writing voice from their past essays so repurposed copy sounds like them, not like a generic AI paraphrase, and it can clone the user's speaking voice locally so narrated reels and audio essays play back in their own voice rather than a stock text-to-speech voice.
